There's countless stories of people from every walk of life whose lives have suddenly and dramatically changed for the better.

Often it's happened through magical and unusual coincidences or after a crisis, tragedy, or a lot of disappointment.

Sometimes it's like God or the universe seems to take over and guide our steps and someone is there who helps you get back on track.

Amazing coincidences and lucky breaks happen all the time in big ways and small ways, and it doesn't matter how young or old you are. It's not just rich and famous people, it's people with ordinary lives too, so not everyone gets to hear about the magical trail of coincidences that turned everything around for them.

Everyone has to deal with their situations, negative programming and self-doubts, which we sometimes don't even notice, but apparently, it's not necessary to wait until disaster strikes! We can learn to just fast forward to the good part! It could be like the frustration you feel learning to ride a bike or skate, but knowing that it's not hard and you can learn to do it, and then the amazing feeling of freedom you feel when you really can!

The Dark Side

One of the things Deepak says in this post here where he also mentions Freud, is that we don't want to face, is what we think of as being 'The Dark Side'.
But the thing is that there's some REALLY EXTRA SPECIAL STUFF IN THERE TOO! and everything goes better when we're not rejecting any part of ourselves.
This is one of my favorite quotes, that helps me a lot, by the psychologist Carl Rogers:"The curious paradox is that
when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

Spirituality

What we call 'Spirituality' now, is a synthesis or fusion of psychology and traditional world religions, as well as other things like science, arts and maths, which are also a deep esoteric part of traditional world religions. Because we see all religions as really being the same at heart and we see our minds as having been made by God or the universe, and as being part of God or the universe, like all of nature and everything else, so we see psychology and spirituality as one and the same too, but with different terminology or words and ways of seeing and explaining the same basic concepts or ideas.

Destiny and Synchronicity

Destiny is an ancient concept or idea, one of the main themes of Greek mythology and literature.
Carl Jung was the first person to identify the notion of Synchronicity, and of course all advanced spiritual teachers like Deepak Chopra have studied and assimilated these ideas as well as religious ones.
The term 'Destiny' is more to do with the path you take in getting to the right destination. Synchronicity is more like the unusual, meaningful coincidences and interactions that guide you to it, and along it. There's another word similar to destiny, 'fate', but the connotations behind 'fate' are that it's BAD and deadly, and there's nothing we can do to change or affect it.

We think our situations, personalities and identities are fixed like black and white stereotypes for the rest of life. But people make great changes in their lives every day.
